Don't you think that Part 1 of the GoF movie should be split up at the part where Harry comes out onto the stadium... the camera zooms over dragon... and BOOM it ends! Kool cliffhanger... but since they are splitting it up, where do you think it should be split up? :)

I don't really think it depends on how far in the book it is, there's just sooo many event happening in the rest of the book, that I don't think could be fit into one movie. The TWO tasks, the Yule Ball, the whole thing about Voldemort... it's just too much.

Yes! JK stuffed all of the stuff in the end and it moved slowly in the beginning... let me philisophise and check the book out... Peeeerfect! Page 398... Cho says,"Cedric... Cedric Diggory" and the screen goes black... very good ending...

but still! Look... Yule Ball isn't even out of the way! Yes maybe Those two extra chapters after the 1st Task will add 10-15 minutes... but then looky here... the Yule Ball is gonna take like 15 minutes... 2nd task 15 minutes... 10 minites for the Egg and the Eye...Ritas scoop should take 10...Padfoot should take like 10 minutes...Madness of Mr. Crouch 10 minutes...The Dream-10 minutes...Pensieve 15 minutes? 3rd Task 20 minutes... Blood Flesh whatever should take 5 minutes... Death Eaters 10...Priori 15 minutes...Veriteserum 15-20 minutes...Parting of ways and begginning... 20 minutes... adds up to 185... NOT bad! Ok... maybe very bad... 3 hours!!!!!!! Which concludes the 1st part of the book should take 2 hours and 30-45 minutes! Seems there a possibility!

Ahhhh isaiahamoz, you're scaring me with that... I'm realising what the movie would be like if they make it short... I just hope they make a good adaption. Tha font color's making my eyes go funny, and giving me a headache... so I'm even more confused at the moment.
One thing though, maybe the pensieve would take about 12 minutes and Rita Skeeter could take up a little less than 10.
