I know this'll never happen in the books but I'm a fan of it with fanfics. So what do you think of them being a couple?

Also, an intesting relationship.... maybe it's because of the age different do I get grossed out but I also like reading these types of fanfics. I think that they would almost make so little sense for them to love each other that it seems perfect. Do you know what I mean? Romeo and Juliet! Sorry, just came to mind....

Interesting. Hermione does like older guys! And she did seem to be quite defensive of Snape in Gof, when Harry and Ron were suspecting him. Personally, i don't think so.

Yeah I guess it's interesting, but the age difference freaks me out! My sister is reading this really really long fanfic, that's never going to end, about Snape and Hermione, and she said it's interesing (that's why she reads it), not because she likes the idea of S/H.

SS/HG rules! Is that your pic in the avatar Skyprincess? Is that you I got that pic from?

Jaheria, which pic are you talking about? What's an avatar?

An avatar is a fancy word to describe the picture displayed under your user name. *points to picture under her auror ranking and grins broadly*

Oh I get it now, thankies Kristie. ;D I think it only shows that you're an auror in the forum that you rule over though. I'm not sure, it's weird. Hmmm..
I still don't get what Jaheria was talking about though. *lol*

I don't think Severus and Hermione are a feasible couple. Even discounting age. Severus would grow weary of her.

I was thinking more like because they're both so smart. You obviously don't read SS/HG fanfics because then you would see my point of view more.

Actually, I have read some SS/HG fanfics on fanfiction.net. I try a bit of everything. I just really don't see it very well. They are both smart, but more than that is needed to build a loving relationship. The fics do work, but that is mainly because Snape is written very out of character. He becomes fascinated with Hermione, and becomes a caring, gentle, loving person. Snape is and will always be a crabby old coot.

Oh, i wouldn't say he's a crabby old coot. His personal life is stuffed up, that's all.

"is stuffed up?" What exactly do you mean by that? I've never seen that arrangement of words before...

What i mean is that Severus had to betray all his friends who were on the Dark Side, to return to the side of Dumbledore, where he didn't have any friends, and those he did were not his friends anymore. He has no friends to speak off, and no family, so thus, he has a stuffed up life.

I still think Snape would be just as- or nearly as much of a cranky old coot if he hadn't had a dramatic past.
